 ALMOND

Almonds are one of the most nutritious of all nuts. Almonds are low in saturated fat and contain many other protective nutrients – calcium and magnesium – for strong bones, vitamin E and compounds called phytochemicals, which may help protect against cardiovascular disease and even cancer.

PINE NUT

Pine Nut is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a very good source of Manganese. Pine nuts are the edible seeds of pine trees. They are small elongated ivory-colored seeds from pine cones, measuring about 1/2 inches long. When raw, the seeds have a soft texture and a sweet, buttery flavor.

 

ALFALFA SEED (MEDICAGO SATIVA)

Common Names: Alfalfa, Lucerne, Luzerne Alfalfa is a perennial herbaceous legume. Due to its high nutritional quality, high yields and high adaptability, A major source of protein for livestock, Alfalfa is mainly used as animal fodder. It is usually cultivated for hay. Alfalfa living from three to five years, depending on variety and climate.

               

RESUPINATUM CLOVER SEED (Persian Clover Seed)

Common Names: Persian Clover, Shaftal Resupinatum clover is nutritious forage, rich in protein and minerals. Resupinatum clover is mostly used for fodder hay. It has high protein. It is cultivated in the Asia and Europe.

 

BERSEEM CLOVER SEED (TRIFOLIUM ALEXANDRINUM)

Common Names: Berseem, Egyptian clover Berseem is an annual, sparsely hairy, erect forage legume. Berseem is a fast growing, high quality forage that is mainly cut and fed as green chopped forage. Berseem does not well under hot summer conditions; it is mainly valued as a winter crop in the subtropics as it has good growth in mild winter and good recovery after cutting.

               

SESBANIA SEED (SESBANIA GRANDIFLORA)

Sesbania is a fast growing perennial, evergreen legume tree, Sesbania is a valued fodder. If the trees are cut back to a suitable height, a large supply of fresh fodder.

               

SORGHUM SEED

Sunflower seeds are usually pressed in to sunflower oil and used as a livestock feed. Sunflower seeds are more commonly eaten as a healthy snack than as part of a meal. Additionally, these seeds are usually considered of choice for bird feeders.

               

MUSTARD SEED (RAPESEED)

Mustard seeds are the small round seeds. Mustard seeds are important spices in many regional foods. Mustard seeds are known in Pakistan as sarson, In Pakistan, Mustard is the second most important source of oil, and Mustard seed has a rich source of oil content and protein. Mustard seed oil content 46% to 48%.

 

FLAX SEED

Flax Seed (also known as common flax or linseed) Flax is grown for its use as edible oil, as a nutritional supplement and strongly in the health benefits, flaxseed oil is used to prevent and treat heart disease and to relieve a variety of inflammatory disorders and hormone-related problems, including infertility.

Licorice root is the dried root of the Licorice plant, Sticks of Licorice typically have a diameter between two and ten millimeters Although they look like plain wooden sticks, Licorice root has been traditionally used as a herbal remedy against different symptoms, such as cough and catarrh.

Fenugreek is commonly known as Methi. The yellow to amber colored fenugreek seed, The Fenugreek has a bitter taste and a strong characteristic smell. Fenugreek has many beneficial effects on the respiratory system and is an effective treatment for lung disorders. It is a fine expectorant that relieves asthma and sinus problems by reducing mucus and is also good for coughs and cold.

Dill (Anethum graveolens), depending on where it is grown, is either a perennial or annual herb. It is the sole species of the genus Anethum. Fresh and dried dill leaves (sometimes called “dill weed” to distinguish it from dill seed) are used as herbs, Dill seed is used as a spice with a flavor. Dill is used in many traditional medicines, including medicines against jaundice, headache, boils, and lack of appetite, stomach problems, nausea, liver problems, and much more.

               

FENNEL SEED

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is a plant species. It is a highly aromatic and flavorful herb with culinary and medicinal uses. Fennel is widely cultivated. Fennel is highly beneficial in digestive disorders. This is helpful in treating indigestion, biliousness, flatulence, constipation. Chewing its seeds after meals prevents foul breath, indigestion, constipation and vomiting.

 

BASIL SEED

Basil common name for the culinary herb Ocimum Basilicum, sometimes known as Saint Joseph’s Wort in some English-speaking countries. Basil seeds when soaked in water, the seeds of several basil varieties become gelatinous, and are used in Asian drinks and desserts such as Faluda and Sherbet.
